Meet the artist:
After graduating in 2017, Emily took a year off to spend with family and try her hand at recording and producing some music. She then headed to Rochester, MN to pursue a certificate in music technology from Rochester Community and Technical College. While in Rochester, Emily performed with college ensembles and tried out open mics as a solo performer. She soon fell in love with performing and adopted the stage name “Ditty Wish.”
Newly named Ditty Wish continued her music endeavors in Grand Rapids, MN. For the last 5 years, she has been learning and developing as an artist in the northern MN music scene and her ambitions are only growing. In addition to performing, you can find Ditty Wish teaching classes and involved in any number of music projects in the area. Find where she’s playing next on the events page, and be sure to follow along on social media to see what she gets up to next!
You can spot Tabitha the rainbow dragon at almost every Ditty Wish show!
